Project Description

The Mathare River Regeneration Network is composed of organized groups working to manage waste and general environment conservation. The aim is to restore the glory of Mathare River. The Mathare River also known as Gitathuru River is a tributary of Nairobi River passing through the informal settlement of Mathare. Kiamako, Baba Dogo, Kariobangi, Glucola, Korogocho, Luckysumer upto Gitare Marigo in Dandora.
