Project Description
The main purpose of our project, spearheaded by our school for students with special educational needs, is to significantly advance the protection and conservation of
freshwater ecosystems, with a particular emphasis on the Jiu River and its vital connection to the Danube River. This initiative seeks to establish four collaborative groups of secondary school students from various schools across Dolj and Gorj counties, utilizing the e-Twinning platform to focus on critical water ecosystems:In Dolj County: The lower course of the Jiu Valley, stretching from Craiova to the Danube, with a concentrated effort on the Podari area.
In Gorj County: The Tismana River Valley and the Runcu – Sohodol Valley.
